A 25 year old Angus man has been charged with arson - disregard for human life. On Thursday, April 17, Barrie Police along with Barrie Fire and Emergency Services were called to an east end home for an active structure fire.

MARIHUANA SEIZED; ANGUS & ALLISTON MAN CHARGED

An Alliston and Angus man both face drug charges after a traffic stop in Innisfil. Yesterday morning (Thurs Apr 17) a South Simcoe Police officer was investigating a truck on Innisfil Beach Road and allegedly smelt marihuana coming from inside the truck.

BOND HEAD MAN CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING

An alleged impaired driver tried fleeing police in Bond Head. On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 16th, the South Simcoe Police say they received calls from concerned citizens about a man who appeared to be drunk getting into a car and driving away.

OPP CHARGE TRUCK DRIVER IN FATAL CRASH

The OPP have charged the driver of a tractor-trailer involved in a fatal crash in early March on Highway 400. Forty-five year-old Jeffrey Gerald Quigley from Severn Township has been charged with criminal negligence causing death.
