Fire departments are warning residents to be safe with their flames this weekend.
New Tecumseth, Innisfil, Essa and Bradford West Gwillimbury's fire rating is set to high as of today (June 24).
This means that fires may be hard to control.

On Saturday (June 25) the Bradford Food Truck Festival will be in front of Zehrs Markets.
Opening ceremonies, including ribbon cutting are from 11:30 am to 12 pm.

Good news for those who can?t stand the extreme heat, Environment Canada is predicting a pretty average summer.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says July and August will be normal but there could be some heat waves and some cooler days.

Stevenson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary raised a good chunk of change during their annual TAG Day
The total for the day was $6,345.00 raised for Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
TAG Day Co-ordinator Gary Munro explains where the money is going.

ESSA & ENBRIDGE TEAM UP FOR FIREFIGHTER EDUCATION

Essa Firefighters have received some gas cash.
The donation is part of the Enbridge Project Assist, developed in 2012, which helps fund additional firefighter training.
This year, the Essa Fire Department received $5,000 of the $100,000 being shared by 20 Ontario fire departments.
